6.00 - 9.00pmThe Everson Summer Picnic honors those who have been pillars of the community and have shaped Central New York through their gifts of leadership and strong conviction that art and creative expression enhance our quality of life. This annual event features an open bar, festive fare and the presentation of the Everson Medal and Volunteer Awards in the stunning setting of the Plaza in view of the Everson Museum. The Everson Medal honors those who have shaped Central New York through their leadership and service to the community. The Everson Lifetime Volunteer Service Award recognizes an individual who has served the Everson Museum in a volunteer capacity for more than a decade. The Distinguished Volunteer Service Award recognizes superb volunteer service to the Museum. The Picnic is one of the Museum’s most important fundraisers, and proceeds directly benefit the Museum’s special exhibitions and education programming.

Presented in partnership with Urban Video Project. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs and settle in on the Everson Community Plaza to enjoy films projected onto the façade of the Museum building. All summer films include pre-show activities and food trucks on the Plaza. Films begin at dusk.
