FAMILY PROGRAMS

Art Zone

Art Zone, located on the lower level of the Museum, invites visitors, particularly children and families, to become familiar with the Everson's permanent and temporary exhibitions by engaging in creative activities that lead to personal connections with art and art making. Visitors of all ages can create objects with clay at our ceramic station. Ceramic artists can fill out a title card for their creation and display it for all to see! At the portraiture station young visitors can take on different identities by dressing up in costumes and have their photo taken in front of different backdrops. Photographs cost $1 each. Art Zone also offers interaction with art through building blocks, computers, books, art supplies, videos and games. Art Zone is open during regular Museum hours.

Current Family Programs

Family workshops and Community Day celebrations complement current exhibitions. They provide families with a variety of hands-on art, music, and other activities to engage all participants in further exploration of exhibition themes.
