Equity TaskForce
Statement of Purpose
As an institution located in the heart of downtown Syracuse, The Everson Museum of Art aspires to be a leader in racial equity and anti-racist policies and programming.
To meet this aspiration, the Board of Trustees has assembled an Equity Taskforce comprised of Board, staff, volunteers, and community partners to carry out our commitment to racial and economic justice through a thorough review of our governance, leadership, exhibitions, programs, and outreach. The Taskforce will develop clear recommendations for action, including measures for success, that will be shared with the community.
