Everson Museum Announces New Board Appointments

The Everson Museum of Art is pleased to announce seven new appointments to its Board of Trustees. The slate will begin in 2021 and will join a group of 22 continuing Trustees who have successfully steered the Everson Museum through the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic. The new class brings with them a wide breadth of expertise from a variety of fields, including accounting, architecture, communications, education, human resources, and strategic management. The Everson Votes To Deaccession Pollock Painting To Diversify Its Collection

The Board of Trustees of the Everson Museum of Art has voted unanimously to deaccession a painting by Jackson Pollock from the Museum’s collection, in order to refine, diversify, and build its collection for the future. Christie’s Auction House will feature the work in its newly announced Evening Sale of 20th and 21st Century Art on October 6. Read More
