Enjoy drinks and salsa dancing with Ritmo Flow outside on the Everson’s podium. Armando Martinez will lead a lesson in salsa from 5:30 – 6:00pm, and then you can dance the night away! Elbita’s Cocina will be vending traditional Puerto Rican food.
September 6: O YOGA ON THE PLAZA
Join us for O Yoga’s 8th anniversary celebration at the Everson Museum of Art. The evening starts at 5:30pm with refreshments from CoreLife Eatery and downward dogs will begin at 6:00pm. Please invite your family and friends for this free outdoor community yoga flow! Please bring your own yoga mat. Inside, enjoy YOKO ONO: REMEMBERING THE FUTURE, a cash bar, and entertainment by Edgy Folk!
October 4: Yoko Ono
Enjoy a chance to experience the interactive components of YOKO ONO: REMEMBERING THE FUTURE after hours! Special guests The Noisy Boys will play a set of your favorite hits from the 1970s, the era when Yoko Ono had her first solo exhibition at the Everson, and WT Brews will host the cash bar.
November 1: Downtown Writers
November is shaping up to be a literary event! Chris Kennedy will take the stage from 6:30 – 7:30 pm as the keynote speaker of the YMCA’s Annual Downtown Writers Event. The original music and lyrics of local band Harmonic Dirt will fill the Museum’s Rosamond Gifford Sculpture Court. Inspired by the evening’s events, create your own watercolor poetry while enjoying a drink from Willow Rock Brewing Company.
December 6: Holiday Market
Enjoy Festival of Trees and get some holiday shopping done while you’re here! Sample and buy from local vendors, Speach Family Candy Shoppe, Kingsley Street Soap, Talking Cursive Brewery, and Recess Coffee. Enjoy 10% off in the Museum gift shop and make your own decoupage tiles as handmade gifts!
