Experience the Power of American Art and Music with Elizabeth Sutphen

The Everson Museum of Art is delighted to host a special performance by Syracuse-native Elizabeth Sutphen, a celebrated coloratura soprano. Known for her “sparkling voice” (The New York Times) and her ability to “soar deftly through stratospheric trills and arpeggios” (Financial Times), Sutphen will take the stage at the Hosmer Auditorium for an unforgettable evening of operatic storytelling.

In conjunction with the Making American Artists: Stories from the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, 1776–1976 exhibition, Sutphen will weave American stories through her breathtaking performance. This evening promises a celebration of both the visual and musical arts, bringing together the rich heritage of American culture.

Join us for this rare opportunity to experience world-class talent in an intimate setting. A meet and greet with Elizabeth Sutphen will follow the performance.
