April showers bring May flowers—and a whole lot of fun! Celebrate the beauty of spring with us during an afternoon of creativity, music, and blooming inspiration. Wander through Making American Artists and Nancy Friedemann-Sánchez: Dream Map & Cornucopia, get creative with drop-in crafts, and enjoy a variety of spring-themed activities the whole family will love.
Event Highlights:
- Flower-themed crafts for all ages
- “Find the Flower!” Scavenger Hunt in the galleries
- Flower Discovery Station for curious learners
- Themed Docent Tours connected to the exhibitions
- 12pm: in Nancy Friedemann-Sánchez: Dream Map & Cornucopia
- 3pm: in Making American Artists
- Family Friendly Yoga to stretch, reset, and breath
- 1-1:30pm: Join yoga teacher Sha-Asia Armstrong for an all-ages all-levels yoga class. First-come first-served. Capacity approx. 20 participants.
- Classical Piano Recital to set the springtime mood
- 2-3pm – Hosmer Auditorium: Pianists Danni Huang and Allen Miller present a classical music recital featuring selections from composers such as Claude Debussy, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, & Ludwig van Beethoven.
