Clay Workshop: Trays, Trivets, & Trinket Dishes

Saturday, November 15
1-3 pm | Danial Family Education Center
$32 Members | $40 Non-Members

Join us for this beginner-level clay workshop!

You’ll learn how ceramic artists use single slabs to make simple slab-constructed objects like trays, trivets, and trinket dishes.  You’ll be able to make two personalized items in this 2-hour class and decorate them with colorful underglazes. Create something for your holiday kitchen or to gift to a friend!

When you’re done, enjoy a hot beverage served in a mug from the Rosenfield Collection.

All supplies included, plus tea and coffee.

Finished pieces will be microwave and dishwasher safe as well as food safe. Items will be fired in our kiln after class and a clear glaze will be applied for participants. All items will be ready for pick up prior to November 27th. Registrants will receive an email with pickup dates and information.

This workshop is taught by our Manager of School and Family Programs, Catherine Walsh, who is a ceramic artist and art educator.
