Everson Museum of Art Welcomes New Board Members

Syracuse, NY — The Everson Museum of Art (Everson) is pleased to welcome six new members to its Board of Trustees: Isaac Budmen, Ed Cronk, David J. Foor, Gia Mahmoud, Dirk Sonneborn, and Louise Rosenfield.

New trustees have already played meaningful roles at The Everson. Isaac Budmen of Budmen Industries has collaborated with the museum on innovative projects, including the research, mapping, and 3D printing of the historic Scarab Vase for the Touching History: Exploring the Scarab Vase exhibition. Louise Rosenfield, who previously served as an honorary board member, is the namesake of Louise Café and a generous donor of the ceramic works featured throughout the café. David J. Foor and Dirk Sonneborn have supported the Everson through exhibition and program-related giving, while Gia Mahmoud brings extensive board experience from her leadership with other nonprofit organizations.

“We are thrilled to welcome a dedicated group of individuals to our Board of Trustees,” said Elizabeth Dunbar, Director & CEO of The Everson. “Each member brings unique talents and perspectives that help us advance the Everson’s mission of community engagement through art. We look forward to working together to shape the future of the museum.”

Together, the Everson’s board members bring a range of expertise, leadership, and perspectives that will support the museum’s mission to engage the community. Their leadership will guide the Everson as it continues to serve as a cultural resource for Central New York. Their diverse expertise will be instrumental in achieving strategic goals and enhancing the museum’s engagement with a broader audience.

The Everson’s Board of Trustees is led by Ryan McDermott (Chair), Daniela Molta (Vice Chair), Ed Cronk (Treasurer), and Maggie Goss (Secretary).
