Help us preserve the precious works of art on view, so that all may enjoy them in years to come. Your assistance in complying with these policies is very much appreciated.

Backpacks & Umbrellas

For the safety of the art and visitors, nothing may be carried on your back. Items that cannot be carried reasonably and safely in some other manner must be stored in our lockers. Umbrellas must be left at the Visitor Services Desk.

Food & Beverage

Food and beverage are not permitted inside the galleries or the Hosmer Auditorium. Food and beverage may be enjoyed in the Everson Lounge.

Please Do Not Touch

Do not touch artwork or approach any artwork closer than 24 inches. The invisible oils on our fingertips or a collision caused by an unpredictable trip or slip could cause lasting damage to a precious work of art. So, please don’t touch and stand a slight distance away from objects while viewing.

Electronic flashes, selfie sticks and tripods are not permitted.
