If I Were to Be Alive
Screening + Q&A featuring Suneil Sanzgiri and Los Ingrávidos
Thursday, November 10, 6:30pm
Everson Museum, Hosmer Auditorium
Join UVP and the Everson for a screening of “If I Were to Be Alive” by Suneil Sanzgiri and Los Ingravidos. The work of Mexico-based Colectivo Los Ingrávidos is an exercise in formal experimentation as an act of political and spiritual resistance to mass media and its collusion with state power and extractive capitalism. This exhibition will feature three short but potent film works by the collective: Fracking, Tear Gas, and Batalla.
