Celebrate the fall season by creating a one-of-a-kind mosaic pumpkin from vibrant vitreous glass tile. In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn traditional mosaic techniques—cutting, arranging, and adhering tile—to design either a classic pumpkin or a playful jack-o’-lantern. Each participant will leave with a 10″ mosaic ready for display.
Learning Objectives
Participants will:
- Learn the fundamentals of traditional mosaic techniques
- Safely use mosaic tools to cut and shape glass tile
- Explore composition, spacing, and flow in mosaic design
- Understand adhesive application and basic finishing methods
- Create a finished mosaic pumpkin or jack-o’-lantern design
This workshop is taught by Everson Teaching Artist Ashe Martin.
