Join the Everson Museum of Art for an afternoon of creativity, community, and collective action. Signs of Solidarity: Art & Activism brings together artists, activists, and community members to explore how art can inspire change and strengthen connections.

During this interactive event, you can:

  • Create your own activist signs and buttons
  • Connect with local community organizations and learn how to get involved
  • Join ArtRage Gallery to create 10×10 activist artworks for their upcoming Off the Wall exhibition and fundraiser benefiting their social justice exhibits and programming
  • Join a walking tour from the Museum to Brewer Harris Projects to see their special exhibition Freedom and Control
    • Time to be determined
  • Attend a docent-led tour of special exhibitions featuring the work of Federico Solmi, Joyce Kozloff, and Laurent Craste.
    • Time to be determined
    • First-come, first-served
    • Limited to 20 participants per tour
