Colectivo Los Ingrávidos: Batalla

October 27—December 17, 2022
Thursday—Saturday | Dusk—11:00pm
Light Work UVP | Everson Museum Plaza

The work of Mexico-based Colectivo Los Ingrávidos is an exercise in formal experimentation as an act of political and spiritual resistance to mass media and its collusion with state power and extractive capitalism. This exhibition will feature three short but potent film works by the collective: FrackingTear Gas, and Batalla.

Colectivo Los Ingrávidos: Batalla  is an outdoor exhibition and part of Community Nights on the Plaza and can be seen projected onto the Everson’s northern façade. Community Nights on the Plaza are brought to you by LightWork Urban Video Project (UVP) and the Everson Museum of Art.  The program runs year-round during select weeks at dusk. Learn more here.
