Everson Museum of Art Closes Temporarily to Minimize Spread of Coronavirus

At the Everson Museum of Art, the safety of our community and the families that we serve is our number one priority. To do our part in minimizing the spread of the COVID-19 virus, the Everson will be closed effective Monday, March 16 through Sunday, April 19. All activities will be suspended until the Museum reopens. Additionally, the Everson trip committee will be canceling its upcoming trips through June.

We will be closely monitoring the ongoing situation and following the guidance of Onondaga County officials, Governor Cuomo, the New York State Department of Health, and the Center for Disease Control and Prevention on when it is safe to reopen our doors.

In the meantime, we will be looking at ways to provide virtual presentations and activities that our patrons can enjoy from home. Please check the website (www.everson.org) and follow along with us on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter for more information and updates.

Please know that our thoughts and good wishes are with you during this unprecedented and difficult time. We are grateful for the support of the Everson community as we address the challenges that the COVID-19 crisis will continue to bring.

We encourage everyone to practice social distancing and continue to follow the recommendations of the CDC so that we can see you back at the Everson very soon.
