SUNDAY FUNDAY AT THE EVERSON MUSEUM OF ART
SYRACUSE, NY (January 13, 2016) – The Everson Museum of Art is pleased to announce the return of Sunday Funday, a fun, weekly drop-in program for children and families. Sunday Funday will take place every Sunday afternoon from 2.00 to 4.00pm, February 7 through May 1 (with the exception of March 27).
Sunday Funday is free with Museum admission. Weekly activities are often related to current exhibitions or themed around upcoming holidays and the time of year. Sunday Funday is a great way for children and caretakers to spend time together in a creative environment. Activities are planned and led by dedicated Everson Museum interns and volunteers.
“We’re excited to be able to offer this affordable family activity, especially during the winter months, when it can be difficult to get out and play,’’ said Curator of Education, Kimberly Griffiths. “The program blossomed in the fall, and we hope it will continue to grow.”
