The Everson Museum of Art Welcomes New Trustees to the Board
The Everson Museum of Art welcomed seven new Trustees to the Everson Board on January 1, 2020. These individuals, according to Everson Director & CEO Elizabeth Dunbar, “bring unique community and professional experiences that complement our existing Board leadership skills and expertise. Board Chair Jessica Arb Danial and I are excited to work with our new class of Trustees as we begin developing a new strategic plan for Central New York’s premiere arts organization.” Everson Board members serve a three-year term.

Nellie Andriyanova
Nellie Andriyanova is Senior Vice President of Bank Sales for Bankers Healthcare Group. Nellie is active in the banking industry, serving as a member of numerous bank associations in several states and speaking on topics of portfolio diversification, income growth and customer acquisition. Nellie obtained her B.S. from Ithaca College and currently resides in Syracuse, NY with her husband, daughter and family.
Darrell Buckingham
Darrell Buckingham serves as Foundation and Facility Operations Manager with Central New York Community Foundation. He previously served as Personnel Officer for the Onondaga County Public Libraries and is the former Chapter President for Central New York/Mohawk Valley International Association of Workforce Professionals. Darrell currently serves on the Community Engagement Committee for the Everson Museum. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Cazenovia College and is a 2018 graduate of Nourishing Tomorrow’s Leaders.

He currently serves on the Board of Directors at Elmcrest and formerly served as Vice President and Secretary of the Big Brothers Big Sisters Advisory Council. He is a graduate of the College of William and Mary, and lives in Syracuse with his wife and two young children.

He was a senior communications executive for both the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency and the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum, a vice president of communications and education for the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum, a director of communications and TrueSport at USADA. He’s also held communications roles for Major League Baseball’s Texas Rangers, auto racing’s National Hot Rod Association and minor-league hockey’s Fort Worth Fire. He’s been honored by PRNews and PRWeek. He holds degrees from Syracuse University (M.S., Communications Management) and Texas Christian University (B.S., Journalism).

Robin Kasowitz
Robin Kasowitz received a Bachelor of Science and Masters of Social Work from Syracuse University. She went on to establish a thriving private practice focusing on Individual and Family Therapy. She now embraces a career as a full time studio artist/sculptor and an advocate for the arts.

Amy Kremenek
Amy Kremenek serves as the Vice President, Enrollment, Development and Communications at Onondaga Community College. Prior to joining OCC in 2003, she worked in the public utility and health care industries in Nevada. Amy earned a bachelor’s degree from the Newhouse School of Public Communications and a master’s degree from the Maxwell School of Public Affairs and Citizenship, both of Syracuse University. She is currently pursuing a doctorate in Community College Policy and Administration at the University of Maryland Global Campus. She also serves as a Board Trustee for the Onondaga Free Library.

Heather earned a B.S. in Policy Analysis and Management from Cornell University and a Master of City and Regional Planning from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
