clay and be gayThe best things are made with love, and art is no exception! Join fellow LGBTQ+ community members for an evening of fun and refreshments as artist August Sable guides the class through creating functional thrown ceramic pieces—designed with love in mind.

Students will leave with an understanding of various pottery skills, wheel techniques, and their very own stunning piece of art. This is a great opportunity to make a gift for a loved one, or for yourself!

Open to folks with any experience level—this class is reserved as a safe space for the LGBTQ+ community to connect and create together.

Artist Bio
August Sable is a proud multi-media artist based in Central New York focused on community work, education, and fostering creativity. His color theory shines in the abstract paintings produced in his home studio using sustainable practices.

When he is not making, he is out encouraging others to make through art classes & events designed to cultivate connections and break down barriers preventing accessible art education.
