Join us for an evening of miniature magic. In this hands-on workshop, you will have the opportunity to learn tiny tricks of the trade and recreate a small treasure to take home and preserve forever. Beauty in the abandoned, shrunken down.

The NYC-bred artist has a knack for transforming the grit of the city into an aesthetically pleasing work of miniature art, bringing new light to the phrase “one’s trash is another’s treasure.”

Artist Bio

Manny Rivera is a mixed-media artist raised in the Lower East Side of Manhattan. He is now deeply rooted in the Syracuse area and has an affinity for bringing the nostalgic grit of NYC to many of his miniature creations.

Making miniatures is an intricate artform, but many might be surprised to learn that everyday objects can be used to make little masterpieces. Between collecting leftovers from his children’s toys and scouring the craft store aisles, Manny’s been able to create tiny worlds with endless possibilities. The real joy is in others learning that they can, too.

A true family man, most of his art pieces have a hidden touch from one of his two young children who are usually creating right beside him.
