Saturday Community Programming  

$10 per family to participate with the cost of admission! 

Come join us for our Saturday drop-in art activities! Experience the Everson’s engaging and interactive sessions, available every Saturday from February to May.  

April 27, 10:30am-12:30pm: Transformational Self-Portraits

Everson staff will guide children and families through a mixed media self-portrait activity. Participants will be provided a variety of collage materials, paints, and tools for assembly. Participants are welcome to use pieces in the Everson’s collection as inspiration for their self-portraits, which they’ll take home with them. Join us for a morning of artmaking and creativity.

May 4, 10:30am-12:30pm:  Comic Strips

Everson staff will guide children and families in this comic creation activity. Participants will explore character creation and comic making in a relaxed, supportive environment. Participants will be provided sketching tools and paints to make their comic strips come to life. Join us for a morning of artmaking and creativity.

April 27 and May 4, 2-4:00pm: Open Artmaking

The Everson invites people of all ages to join us  for Open Artmaking, a group for emerging artists interested in expanding their crafts. Participants will engage with a range of artistic mediums and methods including digital and analogue illustration, painting, and sculpting. Participants are welcome to bring in their own materials and projects. This group will be tailored to the interests of participants, who will have access to artmaking materials, gentle creative guidance, and studio time.
